After a long time had passed, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites were still slaves of the Egyptians . That made them very sad and they complained loudly. God heard them when they cried for help. He thought about his promise to take care of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants . Exodus 2:23‭-‬24

過了多年, 埃及王死了。 以色列人因做苦工,就歎息哀求,他們的哀聲達於上帝。 上帝聽見他們的哀聲,就記念他與亞伯拉罕 、 以撒 、 雅各所立的約。 出埃及記 2:23‭-‬24

2021-1-2 Verses 經文

There were two Israelite women who helped the other women when they were giving birth. These two women were called Shiphrah and Puah. The King of Egypt said to them, ‘When you help the Israelite women at the birth of their children, this is what you must do. If she gives birth to a son, kill him. But if the child is a daughter, you may let her live.’ But the two women respected God. So, they did not do what the king of Egypt had told them. They obeyed God and they let the boys live. ……Because the two women obeyed God, he gave them families of their own.

2021-1-1 Verses 經文

Here are the names of the Israelites who went to Egypt with Jacob. Each one went there with his family. Jacob’s sons were Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah, Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad and Asher. Jacob himself had 70 descendants . His other son, Joseph, was already in Egypt. …… But the Israelites had many children, so they grew into a very large family. They became very powerful. They were everywhere in the whole country.

Tell the believers there to respect the government and those who have authority. They must remember to obey their rulers. They must always be ready to help other people. They must not say bad things against anyone. They must not quarrel with people. Instead, they should be kind and polite to everyone.

2020-12-30 Verses 經文

As for slaves, tell them to obey their masters always. They must not argue with their masters, but they should work well to make them happy. Slaves must not take things that belong to their masters. Instead, their masters must be able to trust them completely. Then people will see that our message helps people to live in a very good way. People will like our message about God, who saves us. Titus 2:9‭-‬10

勸僕人要順服自己的主人,凡事討他的喜歡,不可頂撞他, 不可私拿東西,要顯為忠誠,以致凡事尊榮我們救主-上帝的道。

If someone is clean and good inside, then everything is clean and good for them to enjoy. But if someone is not a believer and has a dirty mind, then nothing is clean or good for that person. Their minds have become spoiled. They no longer feel guilty when they do anything wrong. Titus 1:15

Yes, your people are happy! A child has been born for us. We now have a son with the authority to rule. His names will be: Wonderful Advisor , Mighty God, Father for Ever, Ruler who brings Peace .
