Then the Lord passed in front of Moses. He said in a loud voice, ‘The Lord ! The Lord ! The kind God who loves you becomes angry very slowly. He is a God of special love who does not change. He loves thousands of people. He forgives the bad things that they do. He forgives many people who do not obey him. He even forgives people who do bad things against him. But he does not forget to punish bad people. He punishes children and grandchildren for the bad things that their fathers did. He continues to punish them, even the children of the grandchildren.’ Exodus 34:6‭-‬7

And the Lord said, ‘I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you. I will tell you my name, that I am the Lord . I will be kind to anyone that I choose. I will show my love to anyone that I choose. Exodus 33:19

The Lord would speak to Moses as a man speaks to his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp . But Joshua, the son of Nun, stayed in the tent . He was a young man who helped Moses. Exodus 33:11

耶和華與摩西面對面說話，好像人與朋友說話一般。 摩西轉到營裏去，惟有他的幫手－一個少年人嫩的兒子約書亞不離開會幕。 出埃及記 33:11

The Egyptians will say, “God led the Israelites out of Egypt so that he could kill them. He wanted to kill them in the mountains. He wanted to destroy them completely.” Please stop being angry. Please be sorry for your own people and do not kill them.
Exodus 32:12

為甚麼使埃及人議論說『他領他們出去，是要降禍與他們，把他們殺在山中，將他們從地上除滅』？求你轉意，不發你的烈怒，後悔，不降禍與你的百姓。 出埃及記 32:12

The Levites obeyed the command of Moses and about three thousand Israelites died on that day…… And the Lord punished the Israelites with a bad illness because of what they had done. They had done bad things with the young cow that Aaron had made. Exodus 32:28‭, ‬35

利未的子孫照摩西的話行了。那一天百姓中被殺的約有三千。…… 耶和華殺百姓的緣故是因他們同亞倫做了牛犢。 出埃及記 32:28‭, ‬35

‘Say to the Israelites , “You must keep my Sabbaths as special days. This will be something special for you and for me. The children that will be born will see it. Then they will know that I am the Lord . It is I who make you holy . Exodus 31:13

「你要吩咐以色列人說：『你們務要守我的安息日；因為這是你我之間世世代代的證據，使你們知道我－耶和華是叫你們成為聖的。 出埃及記 31:13

Make some of the incense into powder. Put this in front of the Covenant Box , in the Tent of Meeting. I will meet you there. It will be most holy to you. Do not make any incense like this for yourselves. Think about it always as holy to the Lord . Whoever makes any incense like it, with a lovely smell, for himself, he must die.’
Exodus 30:36‭-‬38

這香要取點搗得極細，放在會幕內、法櫃前，我要在那裏與你相會。你們要以這香為至聖。 你們不可按這調和之法為自己做香；要以這香為聖，歸耶和華。 凡做香和這香一樣，為要聞香味的，這人要從民中剪除。」 出埃及記 30:36‭-‬38

I give this command for all the Israelites who will be born in future years. You must offer this regular gift by fire, to the Lord . Offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting. I will meet you there and I will speak to you. I will meet the Israelites there also and the place will become holy because of my glory . So I will make the Tent of Meeting holy and separate. I will do the same thing to the altar and to Aaron and to his sons. They will work for me as priests . Then I will live among the Israelites and I will be their God. Exodus 29:42‭-‬45

這要在耶和華面前、會幕門口，作你們世世代代常獻的燔祭。我要在那裏與你們相會，和你們說話。我要在那裏與以色列人相會，會幕就要因我的榮耀成為聖。 我要使會幕和壇成聖，也要使亞倫和他的兒子成聖，給我供祭司的職分。 我要住在以色列人中間，作他們的上帝。 出埃及記 29:42‭-‬45

Make a thin plate out of gold and write on it with a sharp tool: HOLY TO THE Lord . Fasten a line of blue cotton to the plate. Then fix the plate to the front of the turban . Aaron will wear the turban , with the plate, on his head for a special reason. When the Israelites bring gifts to God, Aaron himself will carry any bad things in the gifts. Then the Lord will accept the gifts because of the turban on Aaron’s head. Exodus 28:36‭-‬38

「你要用精金做一面牌，在上面按刻圖書之法刻着『歸耶和華為聖』。 要用一條藍細帶子將牌繫在冠冕的前面。 這牌必在亞倫的額上， 亞倫要擔當干犯聖物條例的罪孽；這聖物是以色列人在一切的聖禮物上所分別為聖的。這牌要常在他的額上，使他們可以在耶和華面前蒙悅納。 出埃及記 28:36‭-‬38

Aaron and his sons must keep a light in the lamps from evening until morning. Put these lights in the Tent of Meeting. They are for the Lord to see. Put them outside the curtain that hangs in front of the Covenant Box . You must make this a rule for the Israelites . It is a rule also for those who are not yet born. Exodus 27:21

在會幕中法櫃前的幔外， 亞倫和他的兒子，從晚上到早晨，要在耶和華面前經理這燈。這要作以色列人世世代代永遠的定例。」 出埃及記 27:21
