You are special people because you are the family of the Lord your God. The Lord has chosen you from all the other people on the earth. You are his special people and he loves you. Deuteronomy 14:2

因為你歸耶和華－你上帝為聖潔的民，耶和華從地上的萬民中揀選你特作自己的子民。」 申命記 14:2

You must not keep any of the things for yourselves. Burn them all, as I am telling you. If you do that, the Lord will stop being angry. He will be good and kind to you. He will give you many children, as he promised to your ancestors. This will happen if you obey the Lord your God. You must obey all his rules that I am giving to you today. And you must do right things, that give him pleasure. Deuteronomy 13:17‭-‬18

那當毀滅的物連一點都不可粘你的手。你要聽從耶和華－你上帝的話，遵守我今日所吩咐你的一切誡命，行耶和華－你上帝眼中看為正的事，耶和華就必轉意，不發烈怒，恩待你，憐恤你，照他向你列祖所起的誓使你人數增多。」
申命記 13:17‭-‬18

Be careful never to forget the Levites, all the time that you live in your country. Deuteronomy 12:19

你要謹慎，在你所住的地方永不可丟棄利未人。

Then the Lord your God will choose one special place. You must pray to him there. Bring to him everything that I have told you. You must bring your animals to kill and burn as gifts to God. Bring your other gifts to God. You must bring one thing from every 10 things that God gives to you. And you must bring the gifts that you lift up to the Lord. And bring the valuable things that you have promised to the Lord. Bring everything to the place that God will choose. Deuteronomy 12:11

那時要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的舉祭，並向耶和華許願獻的一切美祭，都奉到耶和華－你們上帝所選擇要立為他名的居所。 申命記 12:11

Keep my words always in your minds. Write them on pieces of cotton and then tie them on to your hands. Also tie them round your heads. Then they will be like signs for you and you will remember them. Teach my words to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house. Talk about them when you walk along the road. Talk about them when you go to your bed. Talk about them when you get up. Write them above the doors of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 11:18‭-‬20

「你們要將我這話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文； 也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論； 又要寫在房屋的門框上，並城門上， 申命記 11:18‭-‬20

So you must obey the Lord and no other gods. Do not still refuse to obey him. For the Lord your God is greater than all other gods. He is stronger than every other authority. He is very great and very powerful. He is fair to everyone. He will not accept a bribe! Deuteronomy 10:16‭-‬17

所以你們要將心裏的污穢除掉，不可再硬着頸項。 因為耶和華－你們的上帝－他是萬神之神，萬主之主，至大的上帝，大有能力，大而可畏，不以貌取人，也不受賄賂。
申命記 10:16‭-‬17

You have refused to obey the Lord ever since I have known you. Deuteronomy 9:24

自從我認識你們以來，你們常常悖逆耶和華。 申命記 9:24

You must understand this. The Lord your God is not giving you this good country because you are doing right things. No, you really think too well about yourselves. You do not like to obey God. You want to do things that give you pleasure. Deuteronomy 9:6

「你當知道，耶和華－你上帝將這美地賜你為業，並不是因你的義；你本是硬着頸項的百姓。
申命記 9:6

He caused you to be hungry and then he fed you with special food called manna. Neither you nor your fathers had eaten this food before. By this, he taught you that a man does not live only on bread. A man also needs every word that God speaks to him. These words will teach him how to live a good life. Deuteronomy 8:3

他苦煉你，任你飢餓，將你和你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，使你知道，人活着不是單靠食物，乃是靠耶和華口裏所出的一切話。
申命記 8:3

Remember that the Lord your God is the only God. You can always believe in him. He has made a promise to all those who love him. If they obey him, he will love them and all their children for thousands (1,000s) of years. Deuteronomy 7:9

所以，你要知道耶和華－你的上帝，他是上帝，是信實的上帝；向愛他、守他誡命的人守約，施慈愛，直到千代；
