David stayed in the safe places in the desert. He also stayed in the hills in the desert places at Ziph. Saul looked for David every day. But God did not let Saul get David.
1 Samuel 23:14

大衛住在曠野的山寨裏，常在西弗曠野的山地。掃羅天天尋索大衛，上帝卻不將大衛交在他手裏。 撒母耳記上 23:14

So David asked the Lord, ‘Should I go and attack these Philistines?’ The Lord answered him, ‘Go and attack the Philistines. Save Keilah.’
1 Samuel 23:2

所以大衛求問耶和華說：「我去攻打那些非利士人可以不可以？」耶和華對大衛說：「你可以去攻打非利士人，拯救基伊拉。」

Stay here with me. Do not be afraid. Saul wants to kill you and he wants to kill me too. You will be safe with me.’ 1 Samuel 22:23

Gad the prophet said to David, ‘Do not stay in the safe place. Go to the land of Judah.’ So, David left the safe place and he went to the forest at Hereth. 1 Samuel 22:5

The priest answered David, ‘I do not have any bread that anyone can eat. I only have some special holy bread. You can have it only if your men have not had sex with women.’ 1 Samuel 21:4

Jonathan said to David, ‘Go and God will keep you safe. We promised the Lord that we would always be friends. The Lord will make sure that my family and your family will always keep this promise.’ Then David left. And Jonathan returned to the town. 1 Samuel 20:42

約拿單對大衛說：「我們二人曾指着耶和華的名起誓說：『願耶和華在你我中間，並你我後裔中間為證，直到永遠。』如今你平平安安地去吧！」大衛就起身走了；約拿單也回城裏去了。 撒母耳記上 20:42

Then I will send a boy to find the arrows. If you are not in danger I will say to him, “The arrows are near to you. Bring them here.” That will mean that you are safe. You can come out from the place where you are hiding. But I may say to the boy, “Look, the arrows are beyond you.” That will mean that you must go. The Lord has sent you away. Always remember the covenant that we made. The Lord will make sure that we keep this promise.’ 1 Samuel 20:21‭-‬23

我要打發童子，說：『去把箭找來。』我若對童子說：『箭在後頭，把箭拿來』，你就可以回來；我指着永生的耶和華起誓，你必平安無事。 我若對童子說：『箭在前頭』，你就要去，因為是耶和華打發你去的。 至於你我今日所說的話，有耶和華在你我中間為證，直到永遠。」 撒母耳記上 20:21‭-‬23

The Lord is kind to me. Please be kind to me too while I am alive. Do not let me die. The Lord will remove every one of your enemies from the earth. But please continue to be kind to all my family.’ 1 Samuel 20:14‭-‬15

你要照耶和華的慈愛恩待我，不但我活着的時候免我死亡， 就是我死後，耶和華從地上剪除你仇敵的時候，你也永不可向我家絕了恩惠。」 撒母耳記上 20:14‭-‬15

Saul went to Naioth in Ramah. The Spirit of God came and he caused even Saul to prophesy. Saul continued to prophesy until he came to Naioth. Then he took off his clothes and he prophesied in front of Samuel. He lay down and he wore no clothes all that day and all that night. So people still say, ‘Has Saul really become a prophet?’ 1 Samuel 19:23‭-‬24

他就往拉瑪的拿約去。上帝的靈也感動他，一面走一面說話，直到拉瑪的拿約。 他就脫了衣服，在撒母耳面前受感說話，一晝一夜露體躺臥。因此有句俗語說：「掃羅也列在先知中嗎？」 撒母耳記上 19:23‭-‬24

Jonathan spoke to his father Saul. Jonathan said good things about David. Jonathan said, ‘The king should not do anything that is wrong. He should not punish his servant David. David has not done anything that is wrong. And he has been a great help to you. David was not afraid to die when he killed Goliath the Philistine. The Lord helped him to win an important fight on behalf of all Israel. You saw it and you were happy. I do not know why you want to punish him. He has not done anything that was wrong. You have no reason to kill him.’ 1 Samuel 19:4‭-‬5

約拿單向他父親掃羅替大衛說好話，說：「王不可得罪王的僕人大衛；因為他未曾得罪你，他所行的都與你大有益處。 他拚命殺那非利士人，耶和華為以色列眾人大行拯救；那時你看見，甚是歡喜，現在為何無故要殺大衛，流無辜人的血，自己取罪呢？」 撒母耳記上 19:4‭-‬5
