The king from the north will return to his own country. He will be very rich. He will hate those who worship the true God. He will do whatever he wants to do against them. Then he will continue his journey back to his own country. Daniel 11:28

‘Since the first year that Darius from Media ruled, I helped him. And I saved him from his enemies.’ Daniel 11:1

Then he said, ‘Daniel, do not be afraid. You wanted to understand God. You became ready to do what he had decided. As soon as you did this, God heard your words. So I have come to bring the answer to your prayers. Daniel 10:12

Gabriel said, ‘God has chosen 490 years (that is, 7 times 70). That is the time that your people and the holy city will receive trouble. Then God will stop people doing bad things. He will pay for the wrong things that people have done. He will make everything completely good for ever. All that the prophets wrote about will happen. And he will anoint the most holy place.’ Daniel 9:24

「為你本國之民和你聖城，已經定了七十個七。要止住罪過，除淨罪惡，贖盡罪孽，引進永義，封住異象和預言，並膏至聖者。 但以理書 9:24

Listen to us, Lord. Look at the city that belongs to you. Nobody lives there now. We do not pray for things because we are good. We pray to you because you are kind. Daniel 9:18

The angel continued to speak. He said, ‘This is the vision about the evenings and the mornings. And I have told you what it means. It is true, but keep the vision as a secret now. It will be a long time before all this happens.’ Daniel 8:26

所說二千三百日的異象是真的，但你要將這異象封住，因為關乎後來許多的日子。 但以理書 8:26

Then I heard two angels talking. One angel asked, ‘How long will the things in the vision go on? How long will the horn stop people giving the gifts to God each day? How long will God let the horn rule his house? How long will he let the horn walk on his people. How long before they can worship God again?’ The other angel answered, ‘It will go on for 2,300 evenings and mornings. Then they will make God’s house holy again.’ Daniel 8:13‭-‬14

我聽見有一位聖者說話，又有一位聖者問那說話的聖者說：「這除掉常獻的燔祭和施行毀壞的罪過，將聖所與軍旅踐踏的異象，要到幾時才應驗呢？」 他對我說：「到二千三百日，聖所就必潔淨。」 但以理書 8:13‭-‬14

“The four great animals are four kings. They will rule with power on the earth. But the true God will give the kingdom to his own people. Then they will have the kingdom always.” Daniel 7:17‭-‬18

這四個大獸就是四王將要在世上興起。 然而，至高者的聖民，必要得國享受，直到永永遠遠。

‘In my vision at night,’ Daniel wrote, ‘I continued to watch. Then I saw someone who seemed like a son of man. He came with the clouds of heaven. He came near to God, who is always God. God’s servants brought him near to God. Then God gave authority, honour and a king’s power to him. So the people in every country who spoke every language worshipped him. His kingdom will continue always. And nobody will ever cause it to become nothing. Nobody can destroy it. Daniel 7:13‭-‬14

我在夜間的異象中觀看， 見有一位像人子的， 駕着天雲而來， 被領到亙古常在者面前， 得了權柄、榮耀、國度， 使各方、各國、各族的人都事奉他。 他的權柄是永遠的，不能廢去； 他的國必不敗壞。 但以理書 7:13‭-‬14

After that, King Darius wrote to all the people of every nation and who spoke all languages. He wrote: ‘I hope that you all have good and happy lives. I have made a law for every part of my kingdom. All people must respect the God that Daniel serves. They must respect him with fear. He is the God who always lives. He will continue for ever. Nobody will ever destroy his kingdom. He will rule for ever. He rescues his people and he keeps them safe. He does powerful miracles in the heavens and on the earth. He has saved Daniel from the lions’ power!’ Daniel 6:25‭-‬27

那時，大流士王傳旨，曉諭住在全地各方、各國、各族的人說：「願你們大享平安！ 現在我降旨曉諭我所統轄的全國人民，要在但以理的上帝面前，戰兢恐懼。 因為他是永遠長存的活上帝， 他的國永不敗壞； 他的權柄永存無極！ 他護庇人，搭救人， 在天上地下施行神蹟奇事， 救了但以理脫離獅子的口。」 但以理書 6:25‭-‬27
