You people of other nations, recognize that the Lord is great and powerful. Psalms 96:7

Yes, the Lord is the great God. He is the great king who rules over all gods. The deepest places of the earth are in his hand. The highest mountains belong to him. The seas are his, because he made them. He also made the dry land, with his own hands. Psalms 95:3‭-‬5

耶和華啊，你所管教、 用律法所教訓的人是有福的！ 你使他在遭難的日子得享平安； 惟有惡人陷在所挖的坑中。 因為耶和華必不丟棄他的百姓， 也不離棄他的產業。 詩篇 94:12‭-‬14

Lord, when you teach people what is right, you have really blessed them. You use your Law to teach them. When those people have troubles, you keep them safe. Then the wicked people fall into a deep hole that you have dug to catch them. The Lord will not leave his people alone. He will not forget to help the people that belong to him. Psalms 94:12‭-‬14

耶和華作王！ 他以威嚴為衣穿上； 耶和華以能力為衣，以能力束腰， 世界就堅定，不得動搖。 你的寶座從太初立定； 你從亙古就有。 詩篇 93:1‭-‬2

The Lord rules as King! He wears royal power as his clothes. His strength is like a belt round his body. So the world is safe and strong. Nothing can shake it from its place. You, Lord, have always ruled as King, since before the beginning of time. Psalms 93:1‭-‬2

The Lord says, ‘If someone loves me, I will keep him safe. Because he worships me, I will protect him. When he calls to me for help, I will answer him. When he has trouble, I will be with him. I will rescue him, and people will respect him. I will give to him a long life, so that he is happy. He will see that I have the power to save people.’ Psalms 91:14‭-‬16

The number of our days make 70 years, or maybe 80 years if we are strong enough. Yet, even in the best years of our lives, we have trouble and pain. Our lives quickly pass, and we hurry towards death. Psalms 90:10
