Then Elisha said, ‘Go to the people who live near you. Ask them all to lend you many pots. The pots must be empty. Then go into your house. Shut the door behind you and behind your sons. Pour the oil that you have into all those pots. When each pot is full, put it by your side.’ ……Then she went and she told all this to the man of God. He said, ‘Go and sell the oil. Use some of the money to pay that man who wants your sons. Buy food for you and for your sons with what you do not need to pay the man.’ 2 Kings 4:3‭-‬4‭, ‬7

他便說：「耶和華如此說：『你們要在這谷中滿處挖溝； 因為耶和華如此說：你們雖不見風，不見雨，這谷必滿了水，使你們和牲畜有水喝。』 列王紀下 3:16‭-‬17

Then Elisha said, ‘This is what the Lord is saying. Dig many long holes in this valley. Do it, because the Lord is saying this. You will not see wind or rain. But this valley will become full of water! You, your cows and your other animals will be able to drink. 2 Kings 3:16‭-‬17

他出到水源，將鹽倒在水中，說：「耶和華如此說：『我治好了這水，從此必不再使人死，也不再使地土不生產。』」 於是那水治好了，直到今日，正如以利沙所說的。 列王紀下 2:21‭-‬22

Then Elisha went out to the bad water. He threw the salt into it. He said, ‘This is what the Lord is saying. “I have made this water clean. It will never cause people to die again. The land will never give bad plants again.” ’ The water has been good to this day. This is what Elisha had said. 2 Kings 2:21‭-‬22

過去之後，以利亞對以利沙說：「我未曾被接去離開你，你要我為你做甚麼，只管求我。」以利沙說：「願感動你的靈加倍地感動我。」 列王紀下 2:9

After they had crossed the river, Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Tell me this. What can I do for you before the Lord takes me from you?’ Elisha replied, ‘Let me have twice the amount of your spirit.’ 2 Kings 2:9

耶和華的使者對以利亞說：「你同着他下去，不要怕他！」以利亞就起來，同着他下去見王， 對王說：「耶和華如此說：『你差人去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有上帝可以求問嗎？所以你必不下所上的牀，必定要死！』」

The Lord’s angel said to Elijah, ‘Go down with him. Do not be afraid of him.’ So Elijah got up and he went down with the captain to the king. Elijah said to the king, ‘This is what the Lord says. You should not send men with a message to speak to Baal-zebub, the god in Ekron. You seem to think that there is no God in Israel. You will never leave the bed that you are lying on. It is because you have done this. You will surely die.’ 2 Kings 1:15‭-‬16

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Thank the Lord, because he is good. His special love will always be with us. Psalms 106:1

He is the Lord, our God. He rules the whole earth with justice. He will always remember the covenant that he made with us. He made that promise to continue for ever. That is the promise that he made to Abraham, and that he also made to Isaac. He repeated it to Jacob as a law. It was a covenant with Israel’s people that would continue for ever. He promised Jacob, ‘I will give to you the land of Canaan. It will belong to you, and to your descendants.’ Psalms 105:7‭-‬11

耶和華啊，你所造的何其多！ 都是你用智慧造成的； 遍地滿了你的豐富。 ……這都仰望你按時給牠食物。 你給牠們，牠們便拾起來； 你張手，牠們飽得美食。 你掩面，牠們便驚惶； 你收回牠們的氣，牠們就死亡，歸於塵土。 你發出你的靈，牠們便受造； 你使地面更換為新。 詩篇 104:24‭, ‬27‭-‬30

Lord, you have made very many different things! You were very wise in the way that you have made them all. The earth is full of the living things that you have made. ……All these living things wait for you to give them their food when they need it. When you give it to them, they take it. You open your hand to feed them, and they have plenty of good things. When you turn away from them, they become very afraid. When you take away their breath, they die and they return to the dust. But when you breathe into anything, it receives life. In that way, you bring new life to the earth. Psalms 104:24‭, ‬27‭-‬30

耶和華有憐憫，有恩典， 不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛。 他不長久責備， 也不永遠懷怒。 他沒有按我們的罪過待我們， 也沒有照我們的罪孽報應我們。

The Lord is kind to people and he forgives them. He is slow to get angry and his love always continues. He will not always tell us that we are wrong. He will not always continue to be angry. We should receive much punishment for the bad things that we do. But the Lord does not punish us so much. Psalms 103:8‭-‬10

天地都要滅沒，你卻要長存； 天地都要如外衣漸漸舊了。 你要將天地如裏衣更換， 天地就都改變了。 惟有你永不改變； 你的年數沒有窮盡。
詩篇 102:26‭-‬27

They will all disappear one day, but you will remain. They will become spoiled, like old clothes. Like clothes, you will remove them, so that they disappear. But you remain the same, Lord. The years of your life will never finish. Psalms 102:26‭-‬27
